Why can't added viewers see my layer on their device ?

If you have added viewers to your layer but they are complaining that they can not see it on their device, please check the following items:

  • Does the viewer have a valid layar account already ? The viewer should use the email address that you added under the "Permissions" tab on the layer editing page to create a valid layar account.
  • Is the viewer already logged in in the layar client ? The viewer needs to login with the same layar account and the layer should appear under the "Test" tab. 

Please NOTE that the link http://m.layar.com/open/layername only works when the viewer is already logged in in the layar client.
